UNTITLED

[Chorus]
I was suppose to forget you
After you said those faithful words
That without you my life would be normal
But now you’re all I can remember.

It all started one cold rainy morning
Not seeming any different from the rest
Went through my daily routine
And I left unseen with no one in the house but me.
From class to class up until lunch
Sitting among friends laughing along
Then a sparkle caught my eye. It was you
I couldn’t bring myself to look away
Until you noticed me

[Chorus]
I was suppose to forget you
After you said those faithful words
That without you my life would be normal
But now you’re all I can remember.

Our eyes locked but only for a moment
Your face imprinted in my mind
I forced myself to look away
With fear of what you might find
Another glance every now and again
But then I had to go
I saw you again, sooner than I thought
My mind is clouded, my thoughts unclear
What started off as nothing turned into so much more
Everything was perfect ‘til that day
The day you left me shattered and bruised

[Chorus]
I was suppose to forget you
After you said those faithful words
That without you my life would be normal
But now you’re all I can remember.

Standing in the woods on that dark cloudy day.
You said it would be better if you left.
I heard your heart break
I felt the tears that ran down your cheek
You told me to act like you never existed
But the sound of your name
Rips holes in my chest
I never expected to see you again
I know that I still love you with every ounce of my being
But you’re perfect and I’m anything but.
“I’m sorry” was the last words you said before you left.

[Chorus]
I was suppose to forget you
After you said those faithful words
That without you my life would be normal
But now you’re all I can remember.

My world came crashing down
My breathe was taken
I couldn’t say anything
Left alone on the forest floor
Never to be mended again

[Chorus]
I was suppose to forget you
After you said those faithful words
That without you my life would be normal
But now you’re all I can remember.
