Jealous of the Moon
The way you look at her face,
how you bathe in her gentle glow;
the way you lie yourself down
and rest within her embrace,
I am jealous of the moon.
Of the secrets you share
Of the long walks in the woods
Of the way she makes you howl
even though I am not there...
yes, I am jealous of the moon.
Because I must always chase the dark
while hers is the light you pursue;
because I watchover while you sleep
until you wake, when I depart...
always will I be...jealous of the moon.

The wolf is involved, but it is the sun that is jealous of the moon because of the wolf. The "narrator" is the sun being personified. :)

And that is why the Sun is jealous. :)
The grander metaphor here for this one was about loving someone that you know is with someone who is truly better for them. (The wolf belongs to the moon and not the sun) It is not an angry jealousy, but rather a sorrowful one.

I've personified the sun and moon in a past poem from years ago, making the moon a voyeur—the sun being busy looking the other way. I like your take on the sun here. The title caught my attention.
