Other side of Hope...

 
Gazing into the wonder of darkened sky
Casted hands upward reaching high
Unyielding turmoil never far from here
Mysterious, and wandering star.. are you there?

Collapsing upon ground he begins to weep
So precious the illusions spun.. down deep
Elusive star  he begged, illuminate a path forth
Cleared terrain, trodded on.. headed due north

Shadows amidst this lake of light
He swam the expanse.. for sake of might

       As through to other side, appeared light..





        Warmth in tow, it was..

       "Like touching cool water on a hot day...

        Then falling right into the ripples"...washing pain away
