What a desss

I once believed that love could be something epic
The stuff found in legends, the stuff to end wars
I dreamt in rosey shades of gold
In extremes only described in poetry
That the beast could be soothed by beauty's love
That a kiss could cure incurable curses
That in spite of everything love lasted forever
But princesses turn to queens
And watch their kings lavish their whore
with finery rivaling your own
First ladies deal with mistresses flaunted
In skin tight dresses singing happy birthday
With phrases like "she's just a friend" and "girl, you crazy"
And lies laced with truth to make them respectable
Oh, yes, slide that fairytale style lies over
I'll drink them up, pretend I'm a real princess
Who knows full well the kings bed isn't exclusive
Let's drink the dream and clap to that womans performance; what a dress
