It's like everything came to a skid
Even jealousy makes me want to roar

I've made my choice
And I no longer wanna say it with my voice
So a poem it will be
And once I make up my mind it's a guarantee
You could have been the love of my life, but now ill never know

Like the flowers in my vase

where real feelings live
within the pool of life, I am drowning
a surprise since I'm a good swimmer
there is an under-current
I'm fighting it and I'm not sure why
I'm in love with someone I'm not convinced loves me
my mind makes excuses why his eyes flash ice-blue
then I see the ocean when he gazes at me
and just like that I'm drowning again
my mind is my enemy
always taking responsibility
if I am crazy it is a pain my body can't handle that triggers it

We survive trauma and keep on living
Why?

If that day was successful, would it mean that my pain wouldn't be this harsh
The child inside me begged to be love
When i woke up i begged for a day that was never coming

The lost one roaming the streets
Lying on the road in the middle of the night
Waiting to die
The four taken from their mother
With poor prognosis
The others born
When more wished for peril
The stray taken in
Too broken to be fixed
And then there are the few I looked for

a sweet sister in sin has emerged from the shadows
to tell me some secrets to make me wise
she will not be so careless as to tell me her name
she is here to bring my soul some rest
I've always told the powers that be to masquerade when they come
and veil their minds to protect our thoughts and identity
once I'm sure we have a private wavelength
I tell her to send the information it will go straight to my mind
there are so many levels in the mind
all the knowledge she sent is high-clearance access
she says the word among the powers...
