A lonely dark place  
Some come young  
Unfortunately  
Some comeback many times again  
And again and again  
And some....
Never leave at all
A place  
A slight misconception  
Where only the strongest survive
And even they breakdown  
When the lights goes out

Where numbers are very important  
The time given or the number they're branded with  
Rehabilitation they claim  
But more like reeducating the brain  
To fear authority
Divide and conquer  
Break the law  
No longer a civilian in society's eyes  
But in a class of their own  
Even when they're released  
Criminal background checks and job applications  
Continue reminding them
