Enduring the Unseen Disparities of Life

I can't lay down
With the weight of life's challenges
Slowly accumulating upon my shoulders
Karma it might be
I accept my part
Because I know I hurt
Others with no thought
Nevertheless
Great pressures I am dealt
Deterring the path
I've planned so far
Sometimes I want to hide
Surprising myself
Sometimes I want to cry
But no tears from these eyes are felt
And no place to hide at this point
A man in me
Others around look upon
Even when myself
Don't feel like it at all
And hidden strengths comes to my side
When the spirits in my life
Seem to die
But I continue to step along
Down this long narrow trek called life
