parallel lines

there can only be certain explanations
when you start running parallel
with past lives
when colors and light
cast too familiar pictures
in front of where you are
and you see things
again, like they once were
but, it's now
even people look too familiar
but you don't remember
why you remember
and everything in your reality
gets blurred,
and nothing seems real
but, you hope, perhaps
the universe opened that crack
in the window, just long enough
for you to see
that you made it this far before,
and you'll do it again
