a hypothesis of words (revisited)
you.
wield
unmatched
words
of
inspirational
precision
touched
by
whatever gods
properly chose
this passion
as a new
erotically scribed
reverenced
faith
pure
sensual
scribes
unbridled
inked cries
where fantastic
allure
delicately lies
i quiver
at each syllable
my breath
catches
and quickens
losing myself
i read
aloud
my voice echoes
raw penned
emotion
a lush clarity
of desire
as
i
s l o w l y
(tantalizingly)
narrate
each
letter
word
and
stanza
in deliberate
rapt
eloquence
crawling
upon
knees
in
a tattered
warned
wits ends
welcoming
finding
a soft
finale
of pink
quivering lips
wrapped
carefully
around
sacred
fulfilling syllables
desperate
annunciation
mixes
with verve
and anticipation
undulating
wave
after
scrawling
wave
ebbing then flowing
inner ecstasy
decidedly growing
heady emotions
tumble against
heated poeted
rocky shores
a mythical fire soars
yours—
is my new religion
i can harken and hear
inspired angels
singing
so clear
confirmation
of a new day
dawning
now
i give in
weakened
in intent
i'm spent
upon
the
alter
of
your
poem
a willing sacrifice

Ohhh, my kind knight!
I definitely appreciate and thank you deeply. I love reading your takeaway... Yes, words are mightier than the sword, that's definitely something I believe in fully. They have the power to heal, harm or rebuild, completely. I wish there was more universal understanding of that very fact...
You're presence always makes my day - 💙

I feel they find their way into the very fabric that stitches together every iota of our emotional well-being, becoming a force, unlike any other. Powerful, luscious and uniquely heady in all aspects. You're definitely familiar with the profound impact words have, as yours are some of the most considerately chosen and beautifully constructed.
Thanks for reading and taking the time to leave me your truly wonderful feedback. It made my day.

Your words and deep delve (yep, that was intentionally said!... heh heh) into the intensity and experience of process, are truly scintillating and creative. I loved seeing where your mind went; that was a true pleasure to witness. I am beyond delighted that you found this piece filled with the passionate rapture that I hoped to convey, even in a small dose.
I appreciate your thoughtfulness, the list add and all of your continued open honesty.
It's always interesting, amusing and sometimes it teaches me things that I might have otherwised been closed off to, without it. I am grateful, my friend 🙏

Welcome :)
The idea of words being SO potent that they're sacred, even down to the last syllable, was my intent in meaning and IS what makes personal responsibility so vital; understanding just how important, impactful and powerful opening the doors to our souls, can be.... Great feedback, dear poet

One of the things that I get out of reading poems is that within the brevity of their writing (unlike a story, where everything is given), we fill in certain blanks for ourselves, because the writer leads us to an edge, then stops and tells us " guess". We seek to be where their mind went, and why, when we read their stuff.
Not exactly a tease, but an intimate invite to their thoughts.
I absolutely adore a female body. Yet what I crave are their thoughts. I want their intellect, to know how they're wired, and maybe why. I'm insanely curious.
So, writings such as this you've posted, fill in those blanks. It's nourishment.
It's awesome.

Dear Styxian,
Your confessional of sorts had my thoughts racing, leaving me pondering about insatiable curiosity and the spark that it can ignite. I think that fully understanding the complexity and entire ins and outs of what makes anyone tick, is time sensitive. Meaning, it's going to take awhile for all that information to eventually come to light, yet you truly nailed it— that my poetry absolutely has enough meat for a hungry soul to gnaw upon, filling bellies and satiating a hunger within. It's never really occurred to me before and I deeply appreciate you pointing it out.
All my thanks for highlighting that awareness. Your generosity of spirit and mind expanding feedback is unparalleled and I feel fortunate to receive it's benefits. I absolutely love seeing you visit, knowing every time I do, just how much I'll deeply enjoy our back and forth communications. They're always a pleasure... ✨
So glad you left feeling nourished, after reading .... What more could I ask for!!... ;)

That's my little favorite bit, too. I truly love the feeling of good alliteration on the lips , when reading aloud. Always a great pleasure reading your wonderful art, Blue.
Yes we are a week into our "Downunder Summer"...only 20C today and we did have a very mild spring this year...it is heating up for the weekend though, 36C Sunday and 38C on Monday, 100F...that's here in Adelaide at least. So I've got plenty of South Aussie beer in the fridge lol. Our winters are very mild here, the coldest we get on average would be about 15C...we do not get snow here in South Australia...most of Australia never gets snow.
If you ever do get down here it would be great to catch up...we are a pretty friendly lot in general.
Take care my friend.
Cheers...Harry

Seeing you visit 🦋... is such a wonderful and heartwarming jolt. Especially when I feel like I needed something like that, in the worst way. It's been a few very harsh, sad few days, so your thoughtful and extremely kind sentiments are like a hug from out of nowhere. I am beyond delighted and truly truly thankful for that and you.
I am so glad you enjoyed reading and found some pleasure within.... it's humbling and extremely meaningful to me, dear lady.
