suggests toxins and radiation
diagnosis is not prognosis
more tests and analyses
might as well add castration

shaman says “try bumblebees”
enough stings can give liberation

repentance and mortification

Inspired by the book Fuck It: The Ultimate Spiritual Way by John Parkin. Treatments are often worse than the disease. Sometimes the best treatment is to say ‘fuck it’ and find peace. BTW this is my first attempt at writing a villanelle.
