Lighthouse
I had a dream once,
Waves were crashing on the shoreline
Big waves, grey waves, stormy waves.
The sky was dark
I had guessed it was dusk
But I wasn't sure.
I wasn't sure of anything back then.
For all I knew, it was the middle of the day.
There weren't any boats out,
The fishermen had stayed in with their families
Unaware of the lonely girl walking...
I was walking at an angle into the water.
My feet were just barely covered.
I was aimed in the direction of a lighthouse.
The beacon was so consistent,
It drew me.

Odd
My addiction is not a tangible substance,
But an intoxicating state of mind.
I am not one in a million,
There are many of my kind.
We enjoy the little things,
Because the big things are whores.
We own the night and moon,
Stargazing on earth's floors.
We need consistency,
But spontaneity is a must.
We believe in second chances,
But never do we trust.
We believe in oblivion,
And the void in which we scream.
We get too involved in fiction,
Because reality is a dream.
We find meaning in everything,
From a paperclip to a...

My Nightmare; A Truth!
My breathing was rapid,
I awoke with a start.
I tried to calm down
And slow my heart.
My dream was so vivid,
Instilled in my mind.
I glanced at the clock-
3am was the time.
My grandmother was sick.
We learned last December.
The thought was vague,
But I tried to remember.
I recalled the dream;
The feeling of sorrow.
Little did I know…
She would die tomorrow.
The setting was her home-
Always warm and inviting.
Except this time, it was not.
You see, everyone was crying.
“Where is she?” I...

Hold my hand
Kiss my lips
Save me from
My heart's eclipse
When all is dark
And my mind is gone
No else matters
Nothing, no-one
Except You.
You are my saviour
My guiding light
We'll get through this together
And win this fight
My knight in rusty armour
I see only gold
You've saved me from the razor
The burden in which I hold
I can never repay you
But I sure as hell will try
I promise my love to you
From now until I die
Kiss my lips

I am a sad, pathetic life-form
Drifting through space
Everyone else is the norm
I have no safe place
There have been many stops
