A memory of a guided spirit
took me to the hollow land
rising dark tides from the rains

Who Possesses My Soul?
I can't understand this but I'm dead and I'm talking to you right now
Sounds crazy but it's true.
I was lowered into the ground yesterday around noon
My DOD was 3 days prior
What's really strange is that I remember being placed in the coffin
4 carpeted walls surround me
All different walks of religion say the same thing, a beautiful utopia awaits
Well where is it?
No one greeted me at the gates of heaven
Is this Purgatory?
I have not entered a state of peace, tranquility and serenity
Instead, I've been eager, agitated and...

A TRIBUTE TO MRS. ZINN (I Love You)
Sadness covered the earth, as.the
chariot came,
And silence fell, like gentle rain.
Friends and loved ones mourned the
day
The angels came to take her home to
stay.
But, lo, the Heavens burst forth with
delight,
As another Saint came into sight!
Prepare the choir, open the gates...
Sound the trumpet, the King
awaits!!
"Welcome, my child, we've been
waiting for you!
Your mansion's prepared and your
robe is too.
Enter your home, Here,sit on my
right...
You'll be dining at the Head Table ...

I strive to be productive
I aim to be busy
I need to be kind
I want to spread happiness
I will nurture my children
I can provide a safe loving space
I notice the lonely
I reach out to the sad
I will be the best version
I shall not give up
I am your port in a stormy sea
I relish the challenge
I confront adversaries
I celebrate your victories
I cry alongside you
I am filling my heavens bean pot
I hope when the time comes
Those gates will open.

I twiddle thumbs
watching dew dry on the grass

and so much to do
It's best not to count

Our Corner Of Heaven
You are such a perfect muse
No other I’d rather use
For the fodder than makes me better
Or the midnight love we share together
All the odd rhythms that synch our wishes
The reality that rips our stitches
A silence that stretches out between us
Breaking the cloud of all consuming lust
A playback reel, a corrosive stain left like rust
Internal screams meant to break some
The sirens from which we run
I will never refuse you my sweet
Or the tainted nectar we share in dreams
Some corner of heaven where we hope to meet ...
No other I’d rather use

The aged surround
Mourning the reminder
Sinking lower
Feeling her presence
The love
That linked us together
Yet the hungry earth
Dissolves the resolve
In all of us
Nine was young for this
And here I sit
With the same pit
Now silent
Empty
As before
There is no presence here
Just memory
Who were they kidding
Her grave now weathered
Uncle leaning upon the same tree
Watching
Intently
As he did long ago
'You look as lost as you did
When you were a kid'...
