When you feel you are passing through a desert
Faltering and fainting, unbalanced and nothing resolved
When you feel the dryness of your soul
Which you know you are in dire need of a Savior
Mediate n those favorite verses
So that you may eat in the desert the Bread of Eternal Life
When tempted to open your mouth to gossip or share a rumor
Remember not to allow your lips to smack together like clanging cymbals
And resound…Gossip, rumors, malice, and slanderous speech are empty.

Harmonizing the scruples of a mad baby
set upon anarchy no manifest destiny
purposeless the most base desire
no manipulation intentions to push or prod
against your wishes bring me here
for the cycle approves and penalization
let the screen go blue

The Glue That Binds -The Solvent That Tears Us Apart
Love is the divine mystery that can't be reasoned with or figured out
It blossoms fully formed or grows over time slowly
It has it's own half-life and also lives forever
It pulls towards it's own ends and fills life fully
It fills cracks in us and breaks us apart
It comforts and kills
It soothes and regrets
It lives freely in us
It polarizes the very essence of all we are
Love is the drug

Love always finds a way

Broken Bones
Broken bones mend
They knit back together
Making once again solid
That which was once torn asunder
To perfection?
To the unaided eyes maybe
Inside there are imperfections
Mending is definitely more than messy
The million microscopic fractures
That seek their own ends
Forming and melding
While some just don't mend
They remain hidden under the skin
Rarely to see the light of day
So go unheeded ... buried
Unless all subterfuge swept away
So when appraising a soul

My Life As A Book
I like sunrises
Stilled water mirrors
The breeze blowing through spring trees
And moving wildflowers about their stillness
I like the spray in my face
Pistons rumbling under a long sleek hood
The sun beating my brow squinting
The music pumping its funky beat grooving
The wind in my hair
The pull of gravity in all directions
Aerobatics at the limits of reason
Playing on the edges of all and everythings
I like hanging with good friends
Making something out of nothing
Laughing about it all ...

Alloy
Made up of different parts
To make the whole stronger
Blended in molten fire
Sometimes it takes a bit longer
The singular is robust
Pure in its stature
But grows brittle and rusts
Too quickly as is it's nature
A mix of Iron Nickel Chrome
Vanadium and Molybdenum
Molten sun stirred in infernos cauldron
After time and cooling we become one with 'em
Shining brightly
Glinted sun lightly reflected
Standing tall and resolute
Embracing all we once deflected ...
One and whole
