New Year, Same Sh*t

In 2024, folks still putting foil in the microwave
Smoking cigarettes at the gas station, and I mean right under the pump handle
People holding newborn babies in the air like steak hoagies
Flip a light switch, with water dripping down their fingertips
Dodge heavy traffic for a thrill, cause their life and limbs actually depend on it
Pour hot grease in their trash bins, then wonder why the mutha fucka melted and the rats get in it
I've cleaned toilets for years, and what I've witnessed, is that men piss everywhere except the urinal
Women lay they lady napkins, face up, by the metal flushing lever and the toilet bowl
Abysmal thinking has left this society in constant quandary
And that's where people like me come in to save the day
Now as President, I cannot promise that I can put an end to everyday stupidity, but I can promise that daycare is free nationwide.
I can promise that wages will be fair, and stabilization is necessary for everything, such as; housing, rent, rounding out the education for kids and adults alike, infrastructure, public services, clean air and water
Healthcare should be universal, cause folks who throw caution to the wind when they already knew better, need to be protected too
People throw banana peels in the streets and alleys making it hazardous to walk
As cities and townships across America use outdated methods of record keeping and investigating sources
People really die over laziness and misunderstanding
If cocaine residue is spread throughout the US from currency, then where does that leave these EBT Cards?
Stop rigging shit involving electricity and plumbing if you really don't know what the hell you're doing
Don't overwhelm yourself
A.I. may soon take your job anyway
The rich are investing in underground bunkers as a flex and a warning
Over 200 people buried in Mississippi without notice to their families
I can promise to honor lives first over profit
Sleep is a luxury, value such while you can
Somewhere there's a miscarriage of justice
Whether we're talking about a dumb mutha fucka with no common sense or a tragedy that took the lives of hundreds
Don't just vote, speak on it
