Fragile Determination
I haven’t been the same
Since I left my heart in yesterday
You took my love and ran away
Left me bleeding
Screaming your name
You can’t leave me in this place
Like nothing has changed
It’s not fucking fair
You were always supposed to be there
Who’s going to tell me I’m alright
Who’s going to keep me from wanting to die
You were the best thing in my life
For a really long time
There’s nobody else on my side
But for you I have to try
To believe I’ll be fine
They put a bullet in my head
Said they’re just trying to protect me
From who I want to be
Making me forget
About my dreams
I’m trapped in a memory
Where somebody believed
I don’t need anyone anymore
I’m not as broken as I was before
I’ve got the lines
On my closet doors
And hope I can be something more
Someone no one can ignore
Since I left my heart in yesterday
You took my love and ran away
Left me bleeding
Screaming your name
You can’t leave me in this place
Like nothing has changed
It’s not fucking fair
You were always supposed to be there
Who’s going to tell me I’m alright
Who’s going to keep me from wanting to die
You were the best thing in my life
For a really long time
There’s nobody else on my side
But for you I have to try
To believe I’ll be fine
They put a bullet in my head
Said they’re just trying to protect me
From who I want to be
Making me forget
About my dreams
I’m trapped in a memory
Where somebody believed
I don’t need anyone anymore
I’m not as broken as I was before
I’ve got the lines
On my closet doors
And hope I can be something more
Someone no one can ignore
