I marked the 2017 Solar Eclipse by simply reclining outdoors in a chair, soaking up the energy—which was abundant. It left me feeling transformed: recharged, grounded, balanced, and brimming with vision for the future. Not long after, I terminated a toxic contract, even without a backup plan.
I believe it's about being receptive to the gift, rather than ritualizing and making requests. I suspect my feelings would have been different if I were preoccupied with rituals. If anything understands our heart's desires and true intentions, it is the Universe. Therefore, why not let it guide us towards what we NEED rather than what we think we WANT?

This is a sleepy, dreamy, trancelike state that allows us to escape from the harshness of reality. The Goddess associated with Pisces is Atargatis, chief goddess of northern Syria in Classical antiquity. She was known as a fertility goddess, but, as the baalat ("mistress") of her city and people she was also responsible for their protection and well-being. Her chief sanctuary was at Hierapolis, modern Manbij, northeast of Aleppo, Syria.
Michael Rostovtzeff called her "the great mistress of the North Syrian lands". Her consort is usually Hadad. As Ataratheh, doves and fish were considered sacred to her: doves as an emblem of the love goddess, and fish as symbolic of the fertility and life of the waters.
According to a third-century Syriac source, "In Syria and in Urhâi [Edessa] the men used to castrate themselves in honor of Taratha. But when King Abgar became a believer, he commanded that anyone who emasculated himself should have a hand cut off. And from that day to the present no one in Urhâi emasculates himself anymore".

The Dark Moon phase occurs tomorrow afternoon, beginning @ 2:21 PM EDT. This is a preface to Super New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Aries @ 2:21 PM EDT Monday. The Dark Moon is the is the 24-hour phase that precedes the New Lunation and is a perfect time for release prior to Monday's event.
Releasing before Monday is vital. The more we release, the more space we create for the Super New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Aries Monday. Monday should be a time of receiving. Meditating. Rest. Journaling, but no magic or rituals. Of course, follow your heart; however, the more we "do" the less time we have to be still and receive the infusion of energy, which in and of itself provides answers and guidance we need.
Hekate is considered beneficial energy to invoke during this lunar phase. Hekate, also known as Hecate, symbolizes transitional spaces such as doorways, gateways, entrances, crossroads, and midnight. She is associated with the Moon, the underworld, spirits of the deceased, and a variety of plants, both healing and harmful.
She is revered as the Keeper of the Keys, a bearer of light who unlocks the hidden gateways to wisdom, wielding twin torches that cast light upon the journey. In moments when we find ourselves at a threshold or crossroads, uncertain of which path to choose, we may seek the counsel of Hecate for her guidance.

Midafternoon tomorrow, we're going to be experiencing a Super New Moon and TotalSolarEclipse2024 in Aries @ 2:21 PM EDT conjunct Chiron. Regardless of whether or not we're in the direct path or visibly see it, its energy will be palpable. ✨💫
This will be the final total SolarEclipse2024 until 2044 ( 20 years ). The last total solar eclipse occurred in 2017. In places like Detroit, MI, the last Total Solar Eclipse was 200 years ago. Although there are plenty of similarities between the 2017 total solar eclipse and tomorrows, there are differences. Mainly, the 2024eclipse is going to cover more land and last longer.
The 2017 eclipse started over the northwest US and moved southeast. Additionally, that eclipse's path was up to 71 miles wide, compared with a maximum width of 122 miles for this year's eclipse. Perhaps most importantly, the moon completely covered the sun for just two minutes and 40 seconds in 2017. This year, maximum totality will last for nearly four-and-a-half minutes.
It's important, if you truly want to understand the #spiritual meaning of an Eclipse, that you understand the luminaries involved: the Sun and the Moon. These two are revered as the most ancient and human spiritual symbols in history, dating back to the Babylonians in 1800 B.C.
The Sun represents the conscious mind—the inner observer symbolizing inner light and extension of Christ consciousness, which facilitates our personal resurrection and ascension.
The Moon represents the subconscious mind, an extension of our inner life, intuition, and emotion. But because this light is only a reflection of solar light, it means what we experience may need further discernment.
This eclipse is a collision of light and shadow; therefore, our experience can be intense, manifesting as deep revelations, sudden epiphanies, and accelerated spiritual evolution. This Solar Eclipse will be highly impactful because its conjunct Chiron in Aries to the exact degree and minute.
Chiron in Aries highlights the wound of 'Self'. This wound may originate from various trauma types, yet the result is consistently similar across each specific sign. For Aries, the Chiron wound centers around a fundamental sense of worthlessness.
This placement of Chiron is considered one of the most challenging yet significant. While all Chiron placements are painful, the difficulty with Aries stems from its direct connection to one's personal identity.
Therefore, we might focus on working toward increasing our self-esteem and worth. This is especially impactful if we've been bullied in the past, or our attempts to demonstrate courage and self-assurance were shot down by someone whose opinion we valued.

In 2017, I was in a contract I loved, but in a toxic environment affecting my health. I wanted so badly to terminate but had no other prospect lined up. The following year, when faced with spiraling health issues, I had to make a choice: my life or that job.
I chose my life and terminated my contract without any prospects outside of my photography business, which was failing due to my health and inability to maintain energy during events. You can imagine how scary that is.
I stepped out in faith, built two brand new businesses, and am where I am today six years later, I'm busier but happier than I've ever been.
What will your Super New Moon intentions be for this one? What energy do you recognize during eclipses? Pressure surrounding relationships or employment? Feelings of alienation or isolation? Pay close attention to the Sabian Symbol for this celestial event, and how it applies to our individual lives.
These are all energies to pay attention to because the "medicine is in the wound", as is freedom and truth, which enables you to engage on a healing journey for yourself. This in turn will benefit all of humankind. Because we become healing through healing ourselves.
