Silent Cries
You don't see tears in my eyes,
You don't sight sobs on my lips,
You don't hear my heartbeat,
You don't feel my weary pain,
You don't ever sit next to me,
To know what's inside me,
You will hear my silent cries,
You will realise my realities,
How much I wanted thee.

Hey there KS,
Repetition can oftentimes be slightly too much when used in succession but I think here it feels like you used it to drive the emotional impact from line to line, which kind of makes sense to me.... Thanks for sharing with us and I hope your friend was pleased with your kind gesture of poetry!

And in your eyes I can see the pain, the love, and everything you have done. All those people that hurt you, all those people you hurt. And I think it's beautiful because it's you. It's what made you who you are. And I want to sit next to you, and I want to cry on your shoulder and I want you to cry on mine. And I realize your reality, you are mine.
