A Little Girls Heart

Coddling unfettered feelings as she unselfishly gave up her childhood, it was God's creatures that were her guiding light and from heaven were they sent
 
She dearly cherished the souls of all things feathered and furry; offering the peace and solicitude to help her be brave and keep her spirit gentle and aloft  
 
Their heart beat with such a warm and comforting propensity that filled her soul with happiness, their loyalty and love was precious and truly infinite  
 
As the world seemed too heavy; easily feeling devoid of even a smile, these souls were the only haven of hope to keep her little heart pure and tenderly soft
