My Human...
My human, your lap is warm and comfortable
Why do you insist on petting me?
Gazing at me would be preferable
Loving caresses will make me flee
I'll gladly share my living space
Provided that you know who's boss
Entertain me, cater me, on my time with grace
Worship and shelter me, don't make a fuss
After all, I'm the one with the cute chubby face
You are my minion, my loyal companion, my nutcase
Why do you insist on petting me?
Gazing at me would be preferable
Loving caresses will make me flee
I'll gladly share my living space
Provided that you know who's boss
Entertain me, cater me, on my time with grace
Worship and shelter me, don't make a fuss
After all, I'm the one with the cute chubby face
You are my minion, my loyal companion, my nutcase

The Bear And I
The forest silent and low,
a breath of stillness,
pine needles soft beneath trembling steps.
I am here,
a visitor in ancient territory,
the air carries weight,
where shadows are alive.
The BEAR moves like inevitability-
muscle and hunger wrapped in fur.
Its eyes do not question,
claws do not hesitate.
My body,
an offering it never asked for,
splits to rhythm of teeth that know their work.
I become less,
layer by layer,
bone and marrow.
A slow undoing.
The earth takes my blood without...
a breath of stillness,
pine needles soft beneath trembling steps.

Bears
In the dense forests, bears roam curiously,
their heavy paws tread softly.
Ancient survival rituals.
Marked trees, scratched bark, sustenance.
They move with grace despite their size.
Instincts honed over millennia.
Mothers protecting their young, teaching them to fish,
climbing, seeking shelter.
But the world is changing,
the forests are becoming thinner,
the ice is melting,
the seasons are changing,
their habitats are shrinking,
food sources are dwindling,
invisible borders are approaching, ...
their heavy paws tread softly.

Where Swans Go to Die
Beneath the world, where whispers fade
A realm of shadows cold and stark
The path in death is arrayed
Where swans go guided by the dark
The walls are stone, like frozen breath
Their veins of moss, a pale decay
A hymnless choir, the song of death
In echoes lost where none shall stay
Each mummified face, a silent scream
Their sockets wide with horror's plight
As if caught within some endless dream
Where dawn forever yields to night
The air hangs thick, a stagnant pool
A crypt of ages locked in time
As though...

Playdoh Bones
without consumption of any kind(especially the stomache's appetite)- the illusion dies; the story book of fairy tales-all its once upon a times; this whole show and prove thing- that you deserve to be alive- to make the cut- another face-another reason for what aligns within the book of lovely-ugly sensational-lies....
signs of a seriously depressed "human being"- when, "music to ones' ears"- loses its "sound" and simply becomes noise; when imagination is or becomes.... desert bones....

Question!!!
Do y'all believe in speciesism? I didn't even know it was a concept. I know the majority of readers of this post will be non vegetarians and I heard two pov's- their lifestyle, their choice and second that it's a simple concept where we're hurting and eating animals. What do y'all think? It should be a concept or is it an annoying truth?

Once a clear bright day
it happened
just beyond dawn magpies appear
a sudden cloud capsized is forming
with coaled black eyes
they sit at eyes length
upon their branches
staring
a cackling occurs
haste in their wings
sounds escape
into thickness
blankness
of my coffee
I seek
insights
then breaks a rolling
roaming wave
aching bird sounds
screaming cries
a huge conifer is being cut down
where once a refugee began
stammering shuddering
finally
fallen...

The Owl perched on the Giraffe's head.
The owl, silent and wise,
observes the world with attentive eyes.
Its soft feathers
its serene flight soothes the soul.
The giraffe is tall and very majestic.
The owl brings with it the charm of the night,
flying without making a sound,
teaching patience and the art of observation.
Its presence inspires reflection and serenity.
Is a silent keeper of the secrets of the night,
a companion who shares the wisdom

From my story book of words
They are called clan of Nor and wear the history of peninsula of fjords upon their skin. Fiercely build and slightly bigger, chalky ashen is their furry mantle in which many a secret is kept.
Each time I touch the main leading Wolfs fur I am filled with pine needle dreams. Forests dance in their eyes. Many a myth they tell me. They came from the Old World, far, long ago. Before existence of any written history. Before mankind called them Wolf.
Varg Evening Wolf is the main leader. He tells me stories. His heart is so kind it weighs but a feather and deepens like midnight...
