The Big Fake
What a farce
a complete fix
it was so on the cards
that they wouldn't win
with bedroom taxes
the rise of VAT
cutting the armed forces
in the name of austerity
I doubt public choices
made them a majority
when the rich add Rolls Royce's
to an ever growing fleet
whilst the country goes hoarse
from contentious ,silent screams
do you know what I mean ?
The country has
the 'blues' again
crazy is it not
or have we gone insane
I'm in a 'state' of shock
in more than just one way
there's a revolution clock
that now counts the days
until everyone cottons on ,we've been conned
in the biggest
electional fake .

Panem et circenses. Bread and circuses. These are the tools by which the few rule the many. I have often said that it would require a font of continually replenished dispensation, a lack of want of resources, for the pecking order to cease. However, even then, some would seek to limit and control resources and to delude the people with the mind numbing entertainment of hundreds of television channels, as they do now. The pendulum swings back and forth between tyranny and revolution. All things are cyclical, it often seems to me.
