The Journey
I have come to know myself
by way of the Journey.
The Journey over the mountain of
jagged friends and icy words.
The Journey through the valley of
dream killers and illness.
The Journey between skyscrapers and
country dirt roads.
The Journey moving from under
someone's thumb.
The Journey past the fake loves
and to the real one.
The Journey around myself until
I soul dived.
The Journey into my selfish mind and came out
my selfless heart.
The Journey that still continues.
The Journey is me.

i respect n enjoyed how your mirror & pen worked for you. i thought the introspection was able to cover alotta ground
considering the brevity of the piece. kept my attention though out using some poignant imagery
very relatable, i'll be sure to checkout more of your writes
