Just Sayin
Men claim that the past doesn't matter, but then
say each man she climbs is reminiscent of a corporate ladder.
What seems to be overlooked, is that men seldom want a woman
with an empty appointment book.
So each partner for her is a learning experience,
to prepare for the one who will make the difference.
Understand to, that women start off believing, and it's you
who ends up planting the seeds of deceiving.
So guys please don't be dumb, don't spout random crazy shit
cause you turned out to not be the one.
Keep your "bitch is crazy" comments...

This union is weighted
stagnant and simply outgrown.
We use to saunter together and
now we trudge alone. Banded by
finger circles valued in price alone.
For the vows once taken

The River
The river always did run between us,
A natural divide.
But we never saw it that way.
The river was just an obstacle for us to
Conquer.
So we did and we found each other.
But the river always came back in other forms,
Taking the place of that natural divide
We thought we had beaten.
Soon the new river won.
Each one's river bank now a foreign land
Where we didn't speak each others' language.
And there was no Rosetta Stone.

But we never saw it that way.

Breakup
Crumbled and faded ecstasy,
Your touch is outdated
And losing equity.
Your mouth now a aggravation,
Spewing lies forth, attacking
My ears like some alien invasion.
I thought this'd be hard.
Saying Goodbye.
But I'm tired and you're sick.
I have no more tears left to cry.
You and Your nearness,
A plague on my house.
So please just stop talking
And get the fuck out.

Love to Insanity
Her lips fueled a sweet madness,
And love dragged him into a hold.
She stole away his normal and
Gave a timed fantasy.
The clock ticked and ticked.
Stop.
In the silence his whole self split.
His paramour of love,
The catalyst of his demise.
And he was left with nothing but
His mind and heart.
A mind touched by madness.
A heart ripped to shreds.
And love dragged him into a hold.
She stole away his normal and
Gave a timed fantasy.
The clock ticked and ticked.
Stop.
In the silence his whole self split.
His paramour of love,
The catalyst of his demise.
And he was left with nothing but
His mind and heart.

His Secret
He lived for her, took each painful breath
For her.
The malady in his body had long won
The fight.
Yet his heart still beat and his eyes shone
With unspilt tears.
Fearful of the day he would leave her.
Yet each time she would lay her hand
Against his flesh, the pain would flee
And love's healing touch would spread
Through him.
One would never know he was sick at all.
And neither did she.
For her.

The fight.

On the Dark Horizon
Our once tightly knitted love
Unravels...
Tears perch,
Pleading to fall for strength that is almost yet lost.
But the water will run
Over lashes and cheeks when its done.
And the steady drum in my chest
Will falter and weaken.
Redemptive pleas from my lips
Will go unheard in your ear,
and Silence will ring loud.
It will be amazingly tragic
and I will be irrevocably broken.
Unravels...
