a dawning of the day

see the blue
its beautiful shade
after along stay of dark
I can see
it begins to turn
into its shades of red
a whisper of pink
the outline of trees
the oranges begin to peak though
just barely
the greens of the trees now speak out
a deep breath of moist air
the top of the sun begins to show
like almost takes the breath
its like a painting
only better
cause I am standing here
looking at it
as a painter would
amazed at the beauty
god has created
for us all to see
