Where the flags
of Imagination Fly
like beacons to the call
Where words of wisdom linger
like a graffitied stained wall
Sign of the times
Where dogs they cock the legs
A poets soul,
his passion His words inside your head
Generations to come
Don't be afraid,
pick up your pen
Vent your anger
your feelings Cleanse your soul again and again
Poetry is fun Poetry is raw
Theres no boundaries,
no Restrictions
No fucking written law


Poetry comes from our heart
and our soul's
sometimes it consumes us
eating our free time whole
poetry is descriptive,
UN-restrictive
these are the facts
words reveal wisdom
when corruption attacks
poetry appears in all shapes and forms
rhyming to free-verse
a break from the norm
poetry allows us to
say the words we long to say
free of barriers that society
puts in the way.
poetry dictates what we think and how we feel
These words create damage but they can also heal.
Self-expression is paramount and subjective
To be molded and melded
Taken from the writers perspective
that the card's we deal
after all, we are punk poet detectives.
Poetry is our outlet
a open door of curdled thought's
emotions phrased to perfection
no vowels swapped or bought
Life explodes in
slow motion around us
inside are minds
images ignite into a powerful implosion
working together
they climb hand in hand
they climb higher to inspire
but then fade in the shifting sands
becoming one with the fire
So, even if its about a TV Liceance to kill
or a customer from hell
this is our poetry
this is what it means to us.
