Sunsets
The smell of cinanmon
In the air
There is mystery rising
I love his settled soul
As I look into his eyes
The sunsets!
Posing just for you
In this sentiment
We wear our boots
With our hats
And so vonorably
Say Aaaah!
And foreign music
Centres the room
With joy
And serenating us
With orchids
As the sunsets!
As the sunsets
We travel into space
And weave our thoughts
Into freedom!
In the air
There is mystery rising
I love his settled soul
As I look into his eyes
The sunsets!
Posing just for you
In this sentiment
We wear our boots
With our hats
And so vonorably
Say Aaaah!
And foreign music
Centres the room
With joy
And serenating us
With orchids
As the sunsets!
As the sunsets
We travel into space
And weave our thoughts
Into freedom!

Embracing the Journey
- Embracing the Journey -
The colors of the evening sky, at dusk…
Become more splendid, growing sublime.
We cherish it more, the more we gaze…
And so we look, because look, we must.
The clouds above, beyond count of time,
Do not know the meaning of passing days.
Yet all days pass, like smoke on the wind,
Blown as ashes are, from a fading blaze…
And where they go, we can never follow.
The gods, this glimpse of glory, oft send…
When twilight descends, senses to amaze.
Yet this too must fade, upon the morrow!
When our time passes, do we fade thusly?
As flowers do, whilst we recall their glory.
In another era a great lady once thus said:
“Flowers are flowers because they bloom.
People are people, because they strive…
Both know the hour in their soul and head,
When they must vanish lest cometh doom.”
She lived a lot, before her hour did arrive!
Her final act, was to put words into verse,
Writing those words, that I herein related!
Then she took her own life by old custom.
But souls do not vanish from the universe,
When they have deep hunger to be sated!
I met her when she rose again like a storm.
But the age she rose up in, had changed…
To be reborn is often to be thus estranged.
How many deaths did I die, in times past?
Perhaps, like flowers, we can rise anew…
As I am risen long after I was thought lost.
Thus I think of life, in the hopes it will last!
I care not for endings, and all they undo…
Embracing the journey, whatever the cost.
The wheel of existence turns and we exist,
Nothing vanishes forever under Heaven…
Though fleeting is one moment’s pleasure.
Even thus I wish all our joys could persist!
Is that what makes even gods, so human?
This yearning for joy as if it were treasure.
I look at the evening sky as I think of this,
And I count that moment as another bliss.

Fallen Lovers
- Fallen Lovers -
Part One: Night’s Descent
As twilight hastens unto the land and shafts of gold do shimmer,
Mother Night’s heralds are heard, as the first stars do glimmer.
The sky puts away the gilded crown of the sun’s fiery façade…
And the regent of the sun puts away the ruler’s bejeweled rod.
The delights of the afternoon give way to the pleasures of eve,
As the Queen of the Night descends in glory not soon to leave!
Behold, for her coming is like the advent of a dream’s fantasy…
And all the children of the night know the sweetness that can be.
I hear the songs of moonlight, the night birds and the crickets,
Calling out across the land, across forests, fields, and thickets…
Seemingly a symphony, conducted by forces we can never see!
And yet they wait, they wait for me, delighting in my company.
So come with me, and let us dance where moonbeams cascade,
Down from the heights of the heavens, illuminating night’s shade.
The breaths of the seasons are felt on the neck like a loving kiss,
Each having its’ own sensations to be savored with great bliss…
The playfulness of the moment is ours to discover if we do dare!
Both the teasing and the pleasing, and thrills beyond compare…
Blossoms blow and leaves fall, but through it all, life will endure.
So let us join hands and welcome the night, to savor it the more!
Part Two: The White Angel
Once the sun has set, the ruins of castles fade, lost to ages past.
Their stones, like old brittle bones, are broken so hard and fast!
The blood of those who fell within is no longer wet and flowing,
For ghosts have not the means to bleed, from forms all glowing!
Or some claim to see them as, when to ruins they are so called,
By simple curiosity, which is a power, not ever so easily stalled.
The white of my gown is paler than the countenance of the dead,
As I walk amongst the ruins, feeling nothing of their deep dread.
In queenly dignity I stride, and though I walked through the hells,
Which lie beyond the veil of life and death, in majesty that fells…
Those more prideful than I; even so I am an angel still to behold!
For the dark rites of the past could not keep me long and cold…
I wait to dance with you amidst the rubble, all of night our stage.
So fly to me, oh fly unto me, for to hesitate is to close the cage!
Though born as male I left that life behind to become the queen,
Of a universe of enchantments, the empress in mad visions seen.
My soul was ever female, my mind girlish and given to laughter…
So laugh with me, oh do laugh with me both now and ever after.
I live as a maiden and you love me for all the beauty I possess…
Oh my beautiful man let our passions flow, like my palest dress!
Part Three: Moonlight Halo
My hair has become golden, and the moon serves as its’ halo…
I am the embodiment of light and darkness, as above so below!
The crickets chip, the owls hoot, and I am dancing amidst ruins.
I am the center of my own creation; where it ends, and begins…
Weaving a spell to bring you hither, to bind you to me with love.
I am the angel who waits below, cast down cruelly from above!
And lo, I see your form drawn nigh, like a ghost from the grave,
Wandering alone in my kingdom, your spirit so bold and brave!
I want you with all my heart, and you want my desire to blaze…
So you are drawn like a moth to the flame, until the end of days.
Burn in my presence, for passion is the heat that fully consumes!
Bask in my radiance, for such immolation is not one that dooms.
Rather through love you will be reborn, and not need to wander,
For, at my side you will be complete, with naught left to ponder.
I feel your hand sliding into mine, and I behold you ever sweet,
Your smile is angelic, in and of itself, as a goddess it does greet.
Love is worship in its’ purest form and so become my devotee!
Mine is the hand that plucked the fruit from the Forbidden Tree,
Giving it to a maiden who bore her gift unto all mankind, eternal.
Now, all it has to offer is love, hotter than all the flames infernal!

Sunsets
The ground kisses the horizon
As the hue of orange seems like the sky is on fire
The ocean is calm right in our eye view
Yet sparkles of passion erupt from my fragile heart
Half full or half empty my heart only knows of love
The last rays illuminates the ground with our hands interlocked like a tree branch and it's stem.
I dreamt of moments like this
How satisfying it is
Oh how I have had to battle the universe to be with you
To make you mine
The ground swallows the sun
The yellow hue traps us for a second...
What a beautiful sight!
Passion now overwhelms me, as I get lost in your brown foxy eyes.

wonderings of a sunset's intent
I adore
these longer nights
walking
close to dusk
where hues have
noticeably changed
pigments of fall maybe
watching the day
give way
as I weave west
directly into
the sun's last throes
thoughts heavy and full
dissolve
along with the day
exquisite colors
brandish to bedazzle
blistering perfection
they turn me into
nature herself
I melt
slowly withering
into apricot skies
scorched amber embers
flare to combust
consuming all
everything
burnt orange
ripens
relinquishing
to pinkish plum
highlighting
bluebell
where night
teeters—
beckoning

Hallucinogenic discoveries of perception and crescent moon desire
Torrid outlines
travel
medium to mountain high
intertwining shapes,
curvature of edges
pigments pop
where lustre births into awe
streaming asymmetrical allure
heavenly swaths
crease and fold
delineate every line
and smallest mark
patterns outlining perfection
Dreams temper themselves upon
participle and adjective;
kaleidoscopic kinesis-
from the ashes, rise and roar
masters, makers, lovers, thieves
culminating breaths,
frequencies incense intimacy
paint swaths of skin and sweat
a heady red
candied swirls in magical hues
Call forth between meaning and intent
screaming each stroke's name in vain
having brushed the blood red sky
from it's inception
to the very brink of artful destruction
words collapse only to
reform amidst the swelling tides
riding translucent dreamscapes
Readying souls
defining what was
to be impossible
to probable
We know better,
We witnesses who've been awakened
as little deaths are reborn anew

Sunset
The sun climbs down from the evening sky.
It slowly drops behind the peak of the mountain
And gently touches the surface of the sea.
The amber and purplish sunset fascinates me.
In a few minutes or so, the sun will disappear.
Darkness will cover the land and crickets will chirp.
I stand alone on a slope overlooking the valley.
It’s so peaceful and quiet out here at dusk,
But I can’t ignore the loneliness in my heart.
The beauty of sunset temporarily eases my pain.
Evenfall is my solace when I’m on this ridge.
I wish I could follow the sunset across the globe.
The appearance of sunset is like nothing else.
I travelled westward to see this awesome sight.
On this calm crepuscule my spirit is satisfied.

And gently touches the surface of the sea.
