The Chariot
Let’s be honest,
Rooms are composed of six lines,
Line One:
Why am I a who-man, cataracted into
This
Antagonistic, rectipetal
Lee,
Hand of accreted injury,
Thrust before a liquefactious air,
And why is this sleek-
Shod carrion bird,
Flute of limbs and impermeable
Coat,
Circling the stench
Of once proud flesh,
Rendered, now,
A tumble of stinking ropes,
What it is.
Line Two:
Why are the corners brooding
At the drum beats...

The doomsday of politics and what is considered We The People is vague in its retrospect. Before the political parties divested their voices in their agendas, you had the five political parties, which consists of The Reform party, the Libertarian party, the Socialist party, the Natural Law, not to forgot, the Constitution, and the Green parties, each entity could promote or endorse a presidential candidate of their choice.

Institutionalised
We live in the institution of our society
addicted to its trappings
desperate to succeed by its standards
becoming what we are told to be
in order to progress
So deaf are we
to any sound outside of our cage
that we become insular
we chirp away
repeating our jailers calls
adding to the noise of oppression
as we sing our little hearts out
to disguise our acquiescence
and any voice of opposition
So blind to alternatives
that we become the oppressors ...

This world is progressing very fast and somehow, I will have to say in the wrong direction, what was once looked upon as moral decenary has been tainted with the new order of comprised political views, or religion depravation. We are marching into the last month of the calendar year momentarily. I do hope everyone’s Thanksgiving was well deserved, being in the company of loved ones and family friends.
