There’s a day that is coming when all the last will be first and

XMAS 1986
Hello folk; I'm so glad to be alive
17th September - to-day won Singles Championship 22-5
70 years old - bowling-mad - I've made my goal
My name has gone up on Popes Mead's Honours Wall.
This personal success has gone to my pen
Out comes my rhythmic trend - a spurt - when
Out pours my feelings - my brain starts to tick
What a nice year this has been - Nineteen Eighty Six?
This 1986 epistle - "Yours truly' comes first
Must be careful now - my head might just burst
A "personality change" can come - so it is...

A Fathers heart
In the depths of a father's soul, a story unfolds,
Of sacrifice and pain, too great to be told.
For in the shadows, I silently carry the weight,
Protecting my children, their futures secure and straight.
Through sleepless nights and weary days,
I labor on, my love never sways.
For my children's dreams, my heart does bleed,
A silent warrior, fulfilling every need.
In my tired eyes, wisdom lines lie deep,
Etched by battles fought, secrets I'll forever keep.
I shield them from the darkness that may come,
Guiding them...

King of the Castle
I stopped playing
King of the Castle
when I was about ten
All that pushing and shoving
to get to the top
lost its appeal for me
not because I was a girl
I was a tomboy
and could hold my own
against any boy
I preferred to watch
others play the game
from the freedom of a swing
or tree
Then I realized something
I hadn't when playing the game
because I was too busy trying to win
or retain that crown

Liberated Madness

The whispers in the dark keep reminding me of dark hurts...
the voices, of all those who have made me cry, remembered.
So many times I cut myself until the blood did even squirt,
because I longed to see those who harmed me dismembered.
The cuts healed, but the memories of past tragedies remain,
until I laugh when I mean to cry, and cry when I should laugh.
Did they want to make me a monster, through so much pain,
those who bullied me and tortured me with such hellish craft?
Is this why I have such adoration for...

A Villain's Wisdom
- A Villain's Wisdom -
What sort of world is this, that these words,
ring more true with each and every passing hour?
Hate has become more common than is love,
and one is called evil because they are different!
My only crime is that I am unusual and unique,
whilst for that there are those who wish me dead.
In society today, there is much that is absurd,
a society that robs the marginalized of their power.
Good balance is lost; no as below as is above,
whilst the world burns beneath the very firmament!
Too many hands...

Worthless Tenants
Chapter 1
Electricity Bills
Mr. Perry brought some important issues to the attention of the worthless woman who shared the house with him. Firstly, he talked about the electricity bills. He said that the utility company had his wife’s phone number and the company had been sending the electricity bills to her phone, but that edition of the electricity bills only showed the total amount that was to be paid and the due date. Mrs. Perry and her husband could not rely on that insufficient information to pay the electricity bills.

Mel and Boyo
Chapter 1
Bird Bush
Mel was a ten-year-old boy, and Boyo was eleven years old. They were schoolmates who attended a primary school in the country. Boyo used to wear a straw hat with wide brim when he was not in school. They were mischievous boys, and they were rude to adults and children. Moreover, they often played tricks on each other, and they did the same to other people.
Both boys enjoyed catching birds, and they made traps called callaban from narrow sticks and strong vines. In the mornings, they would go to bird bush and set the traps, and in the...

Seekers Will Find Him
IN THE study of God’s character there is danger as well as blessing. It is the same danger present in all searching for heavenly wisdom and understanding.” - F.W. Behold Your God chapter 3
I wish I could ask Fred Wright myself; how dangerous could such a sincere search really be? We do not need to speculate about anything regarding God, because He has already manifested Himself to us in our innocent nature as little children.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.

The Boy Who Cried Snizzerwit
The Boy Who Cried Snizzerwit
a storypoem of dark fantasy
****
On dim dismal eves when wind blows through the boles,
whipping leaves to wet piles, lake waves to the shoals,
and flames ebb on a cold cobbled hearth,
shedding shadows sans laughter and mirth,
the following tale passes parent to child,
blankets bundled close, eyes round and wild,
as retold are the tales of a past misdeed,
replayed to remember, not allowed to recede
from the collective recall of all...
