I make kumihimo ropes on a loom and make jewelry out of them.  This is one of my favorite pieces, as it mixes metal and fiber and allowed me to practice stationing beads.

These are other ropes I’ve made into jewelry.  It’s a tedious process, but it’s also awfully meditative.

Thank you!  It actually started as a way to help manage anxiety, and I find it kinda cool that it produces something so lovely.

I used to have an Etsy shop, but I closed it due to MS preventing me from braiding as much as I was to keep it open.  I still do custom pieces here and there, mostly just because I love making them.
