Romantic Wind

- Romantic Wind -

As day slips into night like silk over my skin,
I hear the sound of the gently sighing wind…
Outside the window of my warmest bedroom!
It embraces me throughout evening’s gloom.
The words of a lover, carrying unto my breast,
Keeping me awake, so blissfully without rest.
Lover mine, caress me with your strong hands,
Across the distance between our far lands…
That I might feel the warmth of your embrace!
And one thousand kisses upon my soft face.
Devour me with your eyes, like a work of art,
Consume me with passion, with love’s dart…
Prick me, that I might know that I am awake!
And not simply dreaming: of love to partake.
Oh, that the wind could be the softest caress,
Running through my hair and down my dress!
If lovemaking could be carried upon the air,
Then oh my love, you would already be there.
But I can feel you in ways only we can sense,
I surrender to your love, needing no defense!
Even a queen can kneel, when on her knees,
She can taste delights that promise and tease.
But oh darling, how the wind delivers you so,
To my moist, wet mouth, so you might know:
A thousand and one, truly forbidden delights!
Oh how the soft wind howls and how it bites,
Like a lover’s nibble upon the lobe of my ear!
Oh lover mine, you draw my heart ever near.
How hot I feel on this chilly winter’s evening…
The ice is melting and for it I’ll not be grieving.
The seasons are changing and ours has begun!
The heat you fill me with, blazes like the sun…
And sweat starts to pour down my willing flesh.
Your breath on the wind feels sweet and fresh!
I feel you filling me, like light in empty spaces…
And I give myself to you, with a lover’s graces.
Let day slip, night ebb, so our love will ascend,
Beyond time itself: where romance may begin!
