TOUCH
Touch has a magic of its own,
Makes you feel you are not alone.
Be you young or be you old,
It stirs up a glow to forget any cold.
It says “You’re near and dear to me.”
It underlines the chemistry
Between a couple who love each other,
Between whom should come no other.
A feel, a caress, hug, or kiss
Warmly placed provide an air of bliss.
To the passionate it’s a great come-on,
The prelude to bodily union.

I quite adore this poem. Here's what I see, though, luv. I see two poems here meshed together. Now, the meshing works, certainly, but I'd like to see what you might make of each separately as well.
The first
Touch has a magic of its own,
Makes you feel you are not alone.
Be you young or be you old,
It stirs up a glow to forget any cold.
It says “You’re near and dear to me.”
The second
It underlines the chemistry
Between a couple who love each other,
Between whom should come no other.
A feel, a caress, hug, or kiss
Warmly placed provide an air of bliss.
To the passionate it’s a great come-on,
The prelude to bodily union.
Now, as I've divided them, neither is complete and within each are phrases that could conceivably be used within the other, obviously. But, the two poems I'm seeing have two distinctly separate emphases though both deal with the subject of touch.
You see, as I read the first portion of your poem I was put in mind of the fact that touch in general is so very important to the human species. Without it, we are truly lost, bereft indeed. We need touch from the earliest ages to survive, to thrive and that need never goes away, though far too many go with it unmet.
The beginning of your poem read almost as a glorious addressing of that very fact: that we ALL need touch, loving touch, without the inclusion of sex, ne c'est pas?
A further exploration of that topic was my wistful desire upon reading your poem, luv. Would you be amenable to doing so, taking up this bit of a challenge? If not, I understand. Twas just somewhat I saw and thought whilst reading your sweet words here.
Now (and I promise I shan't cover much more of your page as I've taken entirely too much space as it is), the second portion of your poem could more fully cover those special loving touches between lovers: moments when she's cooking and he comes up behind and kisses her neck or cheek hugging her to him for a moment her back sheltered betwixt his arms, rocking gently in a porch swing together snuggled close under a blanket watching the stars come out or finding constellations together, walking to the tea shop together arm in arm caressing each other's hands. That sort of thing, perchance... :-*
