Something haunting within the poem and painting.
It left me feeling curious and intrigued. Looking at the painting, the song “Sweetest Taboo” started playing in my mind. Great art on both fronts.

Yes, that is an oil painting !

Wish I was gifted with the talent of drawing/painting

I'm not sure you need talent, desire is paramount... the rest can follow.
Especially with abstract art.  It's sometimes about color and balance or imbalance.
I felt it so decided to start doing it.  
I had a lot of ugly art in the beginning but that didn't stop me.  You need to follow your heart ..
