It’s been a while since I've been behind the wheel. I was told that once you learn, you never forget, but I want to have a refresher just to be safe.

Finally My Dream
Once, I had a dream
That was not my own
I tried so very hard
To nurture the seeds that were sown
As with all dreams
I woke up
Realizing that was not my luck
That was not my drive
That was not at all that kept me alive
I took a breath so deep
That I could feel the ground
Through the concrete on the street
Dreams have come to me and slipped away
I refuse to let go
I command it to stay
If they were not for me
Let them believe I was in the dark
My eyes have adjusted
