Ready For Love

I was ready for love
but I guess love wasn't ready
for me
or it wasn't my time yet.

I was ready to be committed
I wanted a happy life
with a house full of children
but it wasn't my time yet.

When I said I do
I wanted it to be forever,
together,
not apart.

My heart was full.
I felt complete with you in my life.

As I look back
