Boxcars & Snake Eyes
Have you ever watched a loved one wrenching in pain?
Have you witnessed this site through your soul's window panes?
Have you had to maintain while feeling powerless?
Have you endured the unimaginable and remained feeling blessed?
Have your faith been tested to where you no longer pray?
Did it begin to dwindle when your Granny passed away?
Do some days seem futile cause you have no control?
Do you throw the dice anyway to see which way that they roll?
Have you witnessed this site through your soul's window panes?

Good observation some original awareness of struggle in life. I liken this to my understanding of the captivity, bondage, and slavery of humankind. There are honestly days that I find it difficult to pray because I'm going through so many trials, but it's really a blessing, when you understand the metaphor of burning gold, and the impurities coming to the surface, to be seen, and removed. Sometimes, difficult questions and answers can help you see yourself more clearly. Anyway, nice, clean presentation of unique perspective. Makes one pause to reflect and think. I certainly relate to this. Much respect.

Those are some pondering questions, my poet and each one is surmountable than the last. However, being the DON (Director of Nursing), I have seen so many lives I have grown attached to and in the thrones of death cannot even remember my name, yet, thankful for the comforting words, and depending on their religion, reassuring sentiments.
That is why I always try to advise anyone to live your life as if there is no tomorrow, it is good to plan, but do not invest allocated time t while you are breathing, living only comes one in a lifetime, and if you have lived well, attempted to uphold those Golden Rules, and stray away from those seven deadly sins, then our purpose in life will never be in vain.
You always have such gifted mental ink spills on your sacred scrolls you pass along, either by way of giving the answer or proposing the question.
