The Case Of The Transactiterf

The piggy in the outside
Of the middle
Squirmed
Then squandered
Their innate
And sometimes inane
View of the world
It was like a never ending war
Betwixt
Badgers, and beavers
Which no-one was likely to win
But no-one ever won any war
So full swore
It was likely to be
Or not to be
A pointless exercise
Both sides believing
That they were right
Yet neither were likely
To gain victory
And so this futile battle
Raged on
Both sides locked horns
But remain tongue tied
And lived, and died
So never realised
That nothing changed
As the whole wide world
Remained deranged
In a disharmony
Like a 1970's single
Not dissimilar
To a mouldy pringle
And then
Just as an elephant
Entered the room
Armed with a broom
Simple swept it all away
Not a word
Did it say
As was fearful
Of blowing its own trumpet
Which it would never forget
