It's the way some people choose to operate,I suppose. I try and be mindful.  
Sometimes I feel like it's better to stay to myself than it is to continue to try, like I do...  
 
Lessons that are meaningful are usually hard... unfortunately.  
 
I should know those lessons by now!!...lol

Fairweather is the nice phrase for outright betrayal. This piece hit hard and fast for me. There were just the right amount of words expressing the pain as well as the numb subdued existence. Tearfully lovely. H🌷

Why only comment on those? Hmmm... that's kind of disheartening to me. I don't care if a poem has 1 comment or a gazillion, it's about the poem itself- specifically, to me... How it makes me feel. I guess we're all unique in what motivates.

Well, I do thank you for the 'Great write" of course, I will also say I appreciate you finding a poem that didn't have as many comments as the others, even though I would have hoped for something different .... lol.. Sorry if that sounds selfish but like you've said yourself, we work hard to write what we end up posting and it's nice and encouraging to hear valid, insightful feedback.... on any /all pieces...just saying
