It's sometimes within those littlest dreams that I find my most impactful and meaningful desires. Ones that shape and mold my deepest happiness. They do say, it's the littlest things that really matter... In my opinion, it is. Within that "yes" is where lives can be made to feel fully whole...

Go, so many times in life I wished those exact thoughts.

We always here that there is that one special person out there for us, I'm not sure that's true.
There were several people out there whom I thought that was the right person.. But how can that be if they are already spoken for.

My befuddled mind is telling me to stop writing as I'm half asleep In bed..

There's potential for 'perfect' in several different meanings or versions, that make happiness what is paramount, in my opinion. It's not based on one person  (although I do still believe in that, I'm just not centered on it as the be all end all and only way to find true happiness)  finding one other person in the spoonfed movie "happily ever after" scenario we've all been taught.... If that makes sense. Happiness has layers and varied motivations. My little poem is about those corny moments of unabashed joy that I tried to capture... an attempt to, anyway! ... lol..

Your summations of "the littlest things" are truly beautiful in all it's absolute longed for truth of action. It's a gloriously dream that I do enjoy basking within.... I definitely think that it's easier to say than do... I know from experience that maintaining the joy, allowing it to transfer into a continuous happy reality, is hard shared work.... where commitment is paramount....

I have read this repeatedly and love the hope it instills, dear C... thank you for the reminder and for all the extraordinary kindness and encouragements you bestow...

When planting bulbs, bunches of 3 look more appealing. It's enough for a small crowd.

"I LOVE YOU," are 3 powerful words.

One plus one can be equal to 3.

As a freshman, you have just 3 years to go.

Most people have a first memory back when they were 3.

3 strikes and you're out.

Count yourself lucky, many importantly experienced events come in threes.

I treasure (and have missed) the way you cleverly allow me to see things that I might have been too oblivious to appreciate, in the moment.
My admiration for you and your words travel to  places deep inside me; where it colors my perspectives, my thoughts in glowing lighted hues.... a kaleidoscopic consciousness.... It's a beautiful inadvertent education....  and I wholeheartedly thank you for sharing with me. I hope it to continue.... ✨

This is good in all the right places! How long did it take you to polish the words, I wonder, getting to that final version? The reason I enquire is that I've just been watching The Beatles 'Get Back' documentary on the Disney channel, which shows the group rehearsing & strumming through a lot of incomplete tracks. One of them was an embryonic version of 'Something' by George Harrision. Anyway, in this early version, he had the line, 'Attracts me like a moth to a flame'. I think Ringo then says how about, Attracts me like a Pomegranate?' Lol. Lennon said, 'Like a cauliflower?' As you know, luckily, Harrison eventually came up with, 'Attracts me like no other lover.' In your poem, if I'd written the opening lines, it may have started out like, 'What I want    
is to sit on your face.' Lol. Lucky I didn't write it, I guess. 😉

Well placed innuendo.  Aptly chosen for the general energy of the piece.

I just really like the last stanza into the closing.

Really explores the atmosphere of the heart.

This write of yours is definitely not corny!   It's too maturely seductive, for one thing.
It isn't fluffy, thank god.  It's pretty much what every person wants to hear (read) from someone that they're interested in, and such.  It's an affirmation of adult feelings for someone, but crafted in a way that shows the value of what they are getting.
Excellent write and truly pleasurable to read.

For me, it's a bit difficult to express something deeply meaningful in a decisive and minimalistic manner, like I hoped I did here. I have come to really enjoy attempting different styles and formats, to keep myself constantly learning new things; hopefully improving and not rehashing the same sort of theme and structure, over and over.
To soak in all that I can and learn as much as possible 🙆🏻‍♀️....Which is why I change up my poetry as often as I do.
That all being said, you see how I still question myself, I'm getting better every day but I'm a work in progress. Where your comments, uplift, motivate and make me feel like all that trial and error of my personal 'learning curve' has actually made some difference.... Man, that feels incredible!
