I love that you were so inspired by Oral (me too!) .... It's one of the main reasons I still have such an affinity for DU, is the complete and true inspiration that I derive from poets like yourself, O, and so so many others. Your poem is potent and piercing with it's message. One that I fully relate to, fg!.... I can deeply feel your emotions, in such force and conviction.... beautiful and honest, with such a searching and yearning love....

I too, agree that not every single word I write is autobiographical, but there will always be small bastions of mirroring the truth that is Blu, reflected upon the page.... Likewise, I believe is your purple ink!!

This poem wrapped it's arms around my psyche and affected me so..... I wholly appreciate you and your creative and gorgeous mindset...

Such a beautifully inspired piece of writing. There are so many wonderful people here from which to gain inspiration, and purple ink is among the most beautiful. This is so perfectly captured; the whirlwind of thoughts which contain a part of us and so many fantasies... the emotions and all those things embedded between the lines that possibly few, if any, will fully understand sometimes but still are so meaningful. And your author's note also perfectly expresses what so many of us feel. :)
