I'm not quite sure I'm to that extent.... but I certainly understand what you're saying. It's a difficult situation if you're not necessarily wanting to be alone ... It's definitely not the end of the world but I will continue onward and upward—with a wind of hope at my back...

What a beautiful song to sing to the self.  Sometimes harshly subjective, but necessary and honest always.
We have to be kind to those little people  we still are in our hearts where all of those torments, slights, catastrophic traumas happened.

Wow ... another stirring write ... the first stanza is poetic platinum (ran out of poetic gold thanks to your poetry) ... "clarity takes shape/in the darkest quietude" ... excellent ... "wistful cadence" ... tickles the ear ... "a surrender in hushed nothings" ... made me pause ... linger ... reconsider ... "dwells and skulks" ... great sibilance ... "my poisonous plume" ... nice alliteration ... also double entendre ... excellent tantalizing spacing with the closing stanzas ... lets the rest of poem rest ... its meaning linger ... before the powerful authentic closing ...

My day was complete shite today at work and the weather... Ugggh!! I went walking /running this morning and I got poured on— like, soaked to the bone! Yeah, THAT t kind of day... So reading this really brightened my mood, exponentially, LilD. I appreciate your comments so very much, the list add and all the specific examples you laid out for me. It really is kind and a valuable learning tool for me. Sometimes I feel like I flounder about, so.
