Our existence is vain
This world has taken us
The seconds tick away
Time eats away our souls
We fall through its existence
Clawing away
At any memory left behind
It all becomes so repetitive
The cold stares eat away at your skin
Their lies they consume
They filled your brain with shit
Churn and turn they wash away your very existence

And gossip eat away at our conscious

falls from your lips like a waterfall,
crashing over me and filling up my lungs.
So many things rushing through me all at once.
I can't breathe.
I can't speak.
This anger makes me feel weak.
You make promises that you just can't keep.
I feel alone because you only give the bare minimum to me.
Helpless as pieces of my heart break away like rocks.
I've been loving you,
but at what cost?

Have You Seen My Wife ? - a true story
Have you seen my wife?
the creaking floors, the hollow walls,
the garden where he planted beer cans
that bloom without joy.
She was the spark in his life once,
or so he thought
a face a caramel tart,
a voice like honey,
a promise dressed in silk.
But promises break,
don’t they?
Their house became a carnival,
not of laughter but of strangers.
Friends from overseas filled the guest rooms,
toasting her beauty,
praising the home he built.
Their cheers drowned the whispers
he refused...

Preferring The Horn
The pauper porpoise poet
Was a very poor porpoise indeed
As she spent all of her lobster money
On copious ammounts of mead
She read her poems at open mics
But her words were all at sea
Apart from one fine night, she got it right
And flipped her flippers with glee!
Some thought she was a dolphin
Which would really piss her off
And one even called her "Flipper"
She told him to foff!
Yet she found him quite attractive
He was a swordfish, well endowed
And when she saw how 'sharp' he was
Their marriage was avowed ...
