Unknown Betrayal.
You probably think these green eyes are clouded
Seeing through a sheet of 'good to do' plastic
Telling me things that could hurt you and finding it
Finding it to be okay with me.
Well you know when the rolled up paper is between your lips
Suddenly I see something else
A person I had known suddenly in the smoke of 'joy'
Blinded by all the realities of life.
Do not call me and tell me you 'Care'
Because the decision of you telling me your 'High'
Just told me a whole other story
Filled with meaningless words.
Don't expect me to take you seriously
Especially when I'm on the straight and narrow
For I know what smoke and drink will do to people
I've witnessed it firsthand by others.
I'm getting tired of going through all this heartache
Pining over you and wanting you to be safe
When all you seem to do is keep taking yourself down a peg
And removing the ones I put underneath you.
From now on lift yourself up.
I can't be your guardian angel anymore.
I can only watch and observe because that's all you let me do.
I am just a doll you love but have torn apart.
It's a betrayal.
But you don't know it yet.

All of the things that people do to their body. Then do you only truly exsist in there world. We fall to learn to pick ourselves up. Then you have the others that want to be picked up all of the time. It very much is betrayal. A straight arrow can't go around corners. Great write. To the reading list you go. Whooooosh!
