Star Light
When my fight is awash with the dark holds of night
I raise my eyes to the isle of a lone star’s light
I find its grace listening in its watch of time glistening
Heeding my while, its persistence reconciles my smile
Your passage above the aisles of trees and bounds of seas
Leans into me with the breath of a warming breeze
I raise my eyes to the isle of a lone star’s light
I find its grace listening in its watch of time glistening
Heeding my while, its persistence reconciles my smile
Your passage above the aisles of trees and bounds of seas
Leans into me with the breath of a warming breeze

Dear F,
Your piece grabbed my attention as I was driving home tonight the moon was full and absolutely exquisite. The night sky is always a source of solace to me and you have captured those feelings in your work beautifully. Well penned.

Utterly beautiful. I think you should make an audio of this poem. The syllabic flow is so sultry, details captivating.

This a beautiful poem. As always I love the rhyme in your work and the time to take in the night with its solace and sky beauty. Such a breath of fresh air
