Circle of Friends
Sitting with these friends of mine
Things in common I did find
They accept me just as I am
No pressure to do the things I can’t
Guidance and comfort they give to me
No judgement of my flaws that I can see
We do our crafts and talk a while
I feel so comfortable see my smile
I’m in awe of their talents and abilities
It doesn’t matter their disabilities
Beautiful work made with hands that care
On Thursdays at nine you will find us there
Thank you God for this circle of friends
I hope the camaraderie never...

Today Is Enough
Honest to God, I am broken.
I would like to consider my heart big, but dont mean that with arrogance in any manner. I truly truly love big, and at this time, love is so heavy.
This world, all its hurt, I hate it! I miss my loved ones, those that have passed. They were the backbones of beautiful memories. Now, here I stand, doing an injustice to tradition because I can't get over my own shit. Tradition is not a bad thing, unless its based on lies. However, the love I felt from family was real, and still is. But everyone's trying to cope with their own sadness and the whole family...

it is always you
and i love
to call your name
out loud, to the wind,
let your name drift
comfortably, treating
all that listen.
and my thoughts
of you, described
within my mind,
such beauty
overwhelming me,
surely a joy for those
that see you.
and to be with you,
those wonderful feelings
you provoke, i am emotional,
thoughts of you gentle
gathered within me,
feelings more wonderful
than poets conceive.
your name, i can share,
your beauty, it's a gift ...

a brief memory
A brief memory
He sat alone under a wooden bridge over a small stream
that (for him) looked deep; usually, a little girl sat the too
but he had banned her and the straw doll she carried
She treated him like a child holding his hand when they
crossed the road.
She had refused to marry him, asking where his dad was
he told her his father lived far away in aficanmission
land, she also asked him what his father was doing
thinking about it, he said, a driver, thinking of the German
a soldier who lived on the farm.
Her mother had said...

These Old Photographs
I stumbled across some old photographs, some made me cry while others made me laugh.
How I wish I could bring to life some of the precious memories, sad to say some of the faces I see are now my enemies.
If I could turn back the hands of time, alot of things in my life I would definitely rewind.
These photos are bringing out some deep emotions and pain, one's I was once able to manage and maintain the feelings are kinda hard to explain.
While others put a neverending smile across my face memories and good times that can never be replaced.

HAVE YOU EVER TOLD HER
Baby there is something I need to get off my chest, for I think that it's been way over due that I tell you that I appreciate you in so many ways. For you have been there since you and I got together as one. For there haven't been a day that goes by, that when I look at you with the same kind of understanding and respect and honor. That it makes me feel so good to know that I have you in my life and I in your life, for that is what you mean to me as my better half of me as we encourage each other to our true potential. For I remember that day as if it was only just yesterday, when we exchange...

Crucially beautiful: both outwardly and inwardly!
By Stanley Collymore
I've spoken to you several times
over the years, and crucially as
the librarian, that you literally
distinctively are; have similarly had
the clearly undeniably pleasurable
benefit obviously of your crucially
discernibly cherished experience
but basically most unfortunately
all the same and effectively also
not once ever did endeavour to
acquire your name undeniably
so, because I never intrude on
anyone's preserve and always
permit each...

Where Beggars Dwell
The artistry of moon and stars
keeps me breathless of your love
In your temples ‘midst fire and blood
angels tend forsaken ones
dressing them in rays of sun
And as I wove my way between
one stretched his hands with desperate plea
How can I walk your holy ground
praise you and keep closed my own
overflowing is my cup
your light upon my face has shown
If I have a dearth of love
It’s I who as a beggar dwells
keeps me breathless of your love
In your temples ‘midst fire and blood
angels tend forsaken ones
dressing them in rays of sun
And as I wove my way between

Affirmation For The New Year
go forth
affirmed
challenged
renewed
remember
who you are and
who you are
called to be
always find
beauty and wonder
in sacred spaces
around you
care for and love yourself
as you care for
and
love others
on this journey
of healing
awareness and
fullness of life

the sea gull
The Sea Gull
The one-legged seagull king that lived on the last reef
before the ocean began had lived long, longer than gulls normally do
He came from a sturdy breed that for generations had lived
at the edge of land and sea; they knew things other birds didn’t know
On the ferry bound for England the king came onboard, I fed it fine
knowing well the king would be back when the ferry returned
Other younger birds wanting the space on the last reef, attacked the king
who never more returned; to the ferry boat they circled and shrieked
in...

pacific prospectus
Blessed are the peacemakers, and one sure way of peacemaking
is to let the fire of contention alone. Neither fan it, nor stir it, nor add fuel to it, but
let it go out by itself. Begin your ministry with one blind eye and one deaf ear.—
Charles Spurgeon
if you can swallow
your own dark words
before you shoot them
at provocateurs and fools
and if you can cool the flames
that others sling at you
before they swell and cripple the light
that heals your soul
perhaps the green hills shall be...
