A Magnanimous Woman

In her eyes
I see greatness
In her eyes
I see determination and drive
Also in those eyes
I see the struggle
Of many, many years ago
That others would had faltered
But she
Stood strong
Looked adversity in the face
To walk away
To enjoy brighter days
And today
In her eyes I see
A magnanimous woman
She is to me
Never could I
Ever find a duplicate
Because she
Is such a rarity
Truthfully
She's in a class by herself
And the men she lets in her life
Let me be the one to tell
Don't ever think
She will ever be depended on you
Independence
She is never scared
Kitchen, bathroom renovations
She can do herself
Don't let that beautiful face
Have you thinking
She won't get her hands dirty
Think again
A magnanimous woman
Some people see black
But she's much more than the color of her skin
Intelligence flows over her lips
Every time she speaks
To others she's
A mother, girlfriend, auntie, grandmother, etc
But for me my friend
Many words come to my mind
Even when I try
To describe who she really is
She is everything
A good woman should be
Mixing all the words into one
Magnanimous
A magnanimous woman
Indeed
