& your sun      
smiled on me      
     
with a backwards moon      
grimace      
i release my shadows

while drunk off the rays      
spilled from a sideways grin      
they catch my scent

of desire & lust      
     
they bow before the dark

& mischievous       
return to me      
     
& uncover my truth
