She's wearing a beautiful gold vintage watch
I stare at it all night
Finally I ask her even though I'm sure I know
It's an Omega she happily proclaims
Then takes it off for me to examine
It belonged to my father
Which makes it even better
I collect vintage watches
Have several Omega's myself
Iconic moment in sharing
A friendship, the watch, beauty ....

I've never been able to wear watches. My chemistry objects to time, apparently. But I like the look of the vintage watches far more than the newer watches

I gave up wearing a watch when I retired from the machinery of life lol...but I did enjoy listening to the rhythmic ticking of my old pocket watch. Nice ink P.

god! Devlin hit it right out the park (lol) I am an old fuck so I have a few watches and have had many watches - I just asked my son who is 27 - he's never used a watch - how weird is that ??

A lot of milennials reject time pieces, I get it but I think they are missing out ..... Then again you don't miss what you never had.

Watches bring me calm...the ticking...the sound of the mechanisms moving are pictured in my head as I go off to slumber with my wrist up by my ear, against doctor's orders but, what can I say...I guess I'm a weirdo...
