Hocus Pocus

An original Get Well poem

I wish I had a magic spell
To make it go away;
I'd wiggle and wave my magic fingers over you
Until you were again okay.

I'd think healing thoughts; I'd send you love;
I'd transmit healing vibes;
My magic and I would surely beat
Whatever the doctor prescribes.

But there is no magic to be found, so
I cannot cast a spell;
Just know you're often in my thoughts,
And I hope you'll soon be well!
