altında senin şık
turkuaz, çiçek desen
iyi pantolonun;

To the kids of 1990
I look back upon my shattered dreams
I look back upon my lonely screams
My first life is over
My second just begun
As I understood so long ago
How bright it all was so long ago
And time, flowing memory of silence
Remembers
I did not understand
And will never understand all
But there is this, a remnant of the running man.
Decay, every present ever living
A living thing but not quite giving
Alway taking always breaking
The bonds of the people we meet
We remember lentils, boys, stars, broken hair and pigtailed politics ...
I look back upon my lonely screams

So here's the thing: I got wasted last Friday night
and threw up in my best friend's kitchen
Oh! It was a mess, and they were so kind
about it, I hid my face in my hands
Am I ashamed, or am I shameful?

Best of all is when love is requited
though better unrequite than not at all
and as aside a false love is love blighted
to say you love and do not is to fall
for friendship starts by fanning little flames
grow'st stronger still, as deeds and time make fire
consumed friends thus litter charr'd remains
when deeds of friendship grow into desire
most painful hopeless sound of all the world
is hearing one you love say they do not
but blame and guilt and pressure ought be furled

"I do love you as my very good friend"
You said this to me the other day
we were having a heated discussion
about one thing or another, but this, this
nonchalant comment gave me concussion
you love me! And, frankly that's enough
you know, you know, you know! I love you back
as friends or lovers I don't mind
my giddy heart jumped off the track
and wandering through peaceful glades
its rests a-while in golden light
the forest of our love is bliss
I light a bonfire to our delight
bring the drums and bring the drummers
bring the singers and the dancers...

Between the crescent and the star
Between the crescent and the star
here we first met, and here we are
serendipity, sweet and cool
ah me, but I am fortune's fool
between the castle and the flame
my life has changed, its not the same
how much for you I feel desire
please don't burn me with this fire
between the mundane and the sun
to swim with you is loads of fun
I'm fine if you need to nurture
fine a life guard in your future
between the parties and the sheets
you free your body not for me
you free your body for yourself
yet let me...
