On Love
Love is not a poem drinking coffee at dusk
calculating distance of space to close between us;
It's a ratio of silence at the gallery opening;
the dark-cornered guest with an understanding
we fail to emulate.
It mingles like an impaled olive, cemented
in glassine. Its grief outshines
beautiful lichen munching satiated on stone
when taken for granted, or aroused.
The reminder hurts, so we close its orange-red eye
with the sharp fingers of our mouth.
We reason its truth until shrunken to a memory
of a memory. It's not about our need, though;
not the climb, the thrill, the release of salt
and oil across our lips. It's about the stomach, peeling
from the burn of heart. Or, becoming soggy, stale—
our wordless mouths wide as epitaphs, sealed
in a burning envelope of flesh.
Love is not an Arbitrator mitigating gravity
of circumstance with the warmth of absolution
between us. Nor is it all wine at dawn, reflecting
its burgundy omen. It's a bite: raw cacao; pine
needles and bare feet; spoon of ice cream;
swallowing a shard of ice.
It's not a bookie on the bench with a pigeon
in the race. But the very coop where we hatched,
innated with a return tracking device;
but, all our educated-ignorance doesn't know how
to finish this poem, so we can get back home once again.
The End?
(too cliché)
Blessed be?
(you're kidding?)
Namaste?
(too "new age-y")
Sincerely?
(too blasé)
Cordially --
Best, or Kind regards?
(too distant or formal)
Your Friend?
(too "pamphlet-y")
Always?
(maybe...)
Love?
Yes. Love.

Love Survives
as a Syrian wedding
or Palestinian birth
despite hopelessness—
it outlives politics: Brexit,
impeachment, deceit
human ignorance—
withstands genocide
of speciesism, tribal rites
and planet Earth—
Love survives
war and death
—such as words
you cannot erase

Foundation
She entered my life out of nowhere. Just to turn things upside down and inside out.
Laying the foundation of my destruction with every move she made.
Never understanding this game she played was meant to break me, not make me into a better me for the next one I meet. But, to be warped into thinking she’s the only one for me and that life without her is destined to be bleak.
So, I continued to play this game of her’s. Looking through squinted eyes at the lies right in front of me. Hoping the truth I perceived was in fact true and not a combination of hand picked lies I tell myself, to justify the need to be by her side and my inability to see she is chaos in a small package wrapped neatly with a bow.
Knowing she can twist my reality to suit her needs. Knowing that her words can cause me to forget the person I use to be and succumb to her. For my desires are no longer mine but hers. For my life isn’t mine to control anymore, but hers to do with as she pleases.
As she continues to lay down her foundation turning my life upside down and inside out for her pleasure.

LOVE’S a tenseless sapience, spirals in as concrete NOW of a daily existential reeling realm's dream dejavu
“ I i n h a l e you.....
in each finely enmeshing deep breaths
from my serially sizzly popping in, the
starry burning foresting micro-embers
holy smoking vanakkam charcoal lungs
in a yogic metamorphosing transcendence
when the fecking all and nil
of such a grandly elevating
coital coalescing atmospheric
becomes
(y)our wholesome incensing expanse
as spread out singing sigmoidal skies
filters off
its darkly whirling clouded cocktail dusts
of roughened sand shore’s bitten grittiness
-the bittery yesterday’s pugnacious figments…
ruptures as far-off fragmented dissociations
[ -and thus thereof their
callous lacklustre, remnantal tyrannical sterilities
of an unassailable island…in internal disparities
gloating in as an insomniac’s myriad blabbering
eccentric seizures, the better-unsung epicentres
of narcissistic hypocrisies ]
flies out NOW...
as fusing freedom breaths, the flutters
of a revolutionary thunderbird liberation
in micronized mystified oxygenating mists..
in a soul-piercing fireflower awakening...
the deep-petalling passion-pigmented
marigolds ...flame as hybridising molten
sunmoon in a dire truthfulness homam
births with vermilion-tinged ochrewelsh
complexions
the breaths the breaths ..each
measuring counting volume of (y)our
summating voluminous airs, are not
just to linger as topnote in trend
but burns
to weave in an anti-gravitating acrobatic flaming fabric
of silken spinneret ropes, a delicate cobbe hymning in
frequencies of crackling oxidative flares, in a marrying
need as the core basal solidities”
rendezvous ……of Us
this dawn, a jellied iceapple kernel
of glistening translucence studded in
diamond droplets at each dimensional
glinting eyeturn, in a chilly canvasing
sensual palette of n-reflections in taste
our eyes flutter, as fragile pulsating butterflies
in cast lights laden with diamond shard dusts
dangerously abrasing glances dance in an illumine
further progressing....as midnight radioing, the
thickening honey swirl...slowly mellow as voicing
streams of a densly hazy gushing chimney steam..
...precise
as the sharpening (s)words
trying to reach each other
at an unheard intersection
in an adamantly conjoining
-an unparting amalgamation
we talk and talk for endless days nights
wholly amazing of the striking coincidence
of our meeting, of how..they have been
happening in such similar exactitude… in
an infinite recurrence
........simply deeply tremendously feels to be
entering agian & again....only to be coming out
of a convoluting deep-sea conching snail matrix
in sacred cosmic om om om om reverberations
of Our Love..rapturously encaptured
in ecstasy of our freefalling entry flights....
smoothly sliding and spiralling in & in
to the core
that's magically siphoning
in an interlocutory hyphening
unto its outermostly distant
exit point that never was is
a portal unto its own
.
