Boomerang
You're the weapon of choice.
You're invisible in the rain.
My enemies better duck fast,
If they want to keep their brains.
You're supersonic.
You're a siren shrieking.
Fidget spinner in flight.
Intimidating and defeating.
All my enemies, they hide.
Because they think you're insane.
You put their minds out of focus.
Riding the jet streams.
All they see is the glare,
From an object unseen.
You hide in the air.
So fresh and clean.

I Pity
Both sides killing each other
They both deserve to die
Since both do not bother
To stop and wonder why
Why is blood spilled each day
For handful meaningless sands
When killing can stop today
And extend peaceful hands
They kill in the name of Right
Blind in the nature of Gods
Thinking they know the light
An illusional psychotic frauds
Any such god would denounce
What is in his name is done
Yet they kill and announce
What they did is for the...

Like I Do
I wonder if German sympathizers
ones who risked their lives
to hide Jews
felt like I do now
watching history
circle back 'round
Did compassionate colonials
feel the same
toward Native Americans
my sacred ancestors
Or benevolent individuals
for the LGBTQ+ community
with a mind wise enough
to know we don't choose
who we Love
because Love is Love
and leads only the worthy
feel like I do
Those who are different
in race, heritage
and religious...

The beautiful regret of whiteness
shallow snow of summer falls, still
Breeze tastes the warmth between her thighs
liminal lovers will come to her tonight, perhaps
Slant of wind splays curtains above the room’s waist
sun’s teeth chatter secrets into her mouth, red
As if the sky wasn’t enough
priapic columns are mere chalk, waiting
An urban concrete contemplation of minds travelling
heaps city blocks upon empty streets, fleeting
Harbour of her eyes are pearled
by sight of artillery fire, distant

Declaring a war you can't win.
I am your cargo.
As you embark on a crazy mission.
To invade me in every way.
Your pen is full of blood.
I never wear a hard hat.
So you give me a concussion.
This headache I need so much.
Getting laid by your words.
Intuitively feeling me.
Patrolling my perimeters.
This subliminal invasion.
Feelings lingering.
You are dying to shoot in me.
Declaring a war you can't win.
There is only one side, mine.
And you will realize that soon.

if your church
is an open-minded welcoming community
That understands the US Constitution
is not a religious decree
if you welcome LBGTQ members
don't cherry pick the bible
practice compassion and kindness
-even to those different from you-
you likely worship a benevolent god
and that's awesome
however
if you don't care how many school children die
to uphold your 2nd amendment rights
if you spout absurdly ill-considered cliches
like 'guns don't kill people'
when the 20 million assault rifles in america ...
